Editorial policy

We write the names on this site ourselves. A product name here is built from the count, what the thing is, and the colour or size where one is stated, in that order, and it is short enough to read on a shelf label. That is a deliberate break from the hundred and fifty character strings this kind of product usually carries.

Facts on a product page come from what the product states about itself. If a material is not stated, no material is printed. If a measurement is not stated, the row is absent rather than estimated.

Guides quote real sources, named and dated, and the full list is on the sources page. Where we have nothing to quote and nothing to measure, we say so.

Ratings and reviews

There are none on this site. We have nothing collected that we would stand behind, so there is nothing to show, and inventing a star rating is not something we are willing to do.

Sources

Where a subject touches health, we quote a national body, print the date we read it, and list every page on the sources page. Sources were read on 14 August 2026.

Corrections

Write to contact@honoson.net and say what is wrong. A fact that turns out to be unsupported comes off the page rather than being softened.
